The ProModel Healthcare Team is pleased to announce several new service and resource offerings designed to help you become more successful. First, we have developed an on-line Healthcare Community Forum inside the Solutions Café for our healthcare customers to easily share thoughts, ideas, tips and techniques with each other. Additionally, a series of project implementation support levels have been created as outlined below. These support levels have been designed to provide you the with right amount of assistance you need to learn how to successfully build models and utilize them to accelerate the results of your LSS and Process Improvement initiatives.
ProModel Announces its On-Line Healthcare Forum
ProModel is pleased to announce the launch of our on-line Healthcare discussion forum.
This open forum, exclusive to ProModel’s active healthcare customers, is designed to provide you with an environment to easily interact with each other to seek, discuss, and share knowledge and ideas on any topic of professional interest centered around process improvement in healthcare. To provide a starting point, we would like to ask you to provide your “Top 3 List” of challenges/success with LSS in Healthcare.
To participate, just click here, sign on to the solutions café, and then create your ProModel Healthcare Forum account. After this one time account creation process you will be able to log back in directly to the forum.

ProModel Healthcare Project Implementation Support Levels
Standard Maintenance & Support Level
Intended for organizations that have a strong individual(s) with significant simulation, data analysis and quantitative skills. e.g. IE, EE, Data Analyst with simulation experience.
Healthcare Basic Project Implementation Support Level
Intended for organizations that are seeking to successfully
implement 2-3 Project Implementation or LSS initiative
simulation projects in the current 12 months. Examples
include: appropriate staffing of a particular unit;
identifying and solving bottlenecks in waiting areas,
labs, radiology, etc.; increasing throughput in a particular
clinical area, workflow analysis – evaluating
staff and patient travel distances, patient cycle times,
patient times in clinic. These are typical Process Simulator
Projects.
Healthcare Intermediate Project Implementation Support Level
Intended for organizations that are seeking to successfully implement a model that encompasses a broad scope. Examples include: the creation of a model within a clinical area (ED, Multi-specialty clinic, Surgical area, etc) where multiple variables and a greater number of resources must be considered. Combining several problems into one model such as: appropriate staffing of a particular unit; identifying and solving bottlenecks in waiting areas, labs, radiology, etc.; increasing throughput in a particular clinical area, workflow analysis – evaluate staff travel distances, patient cycle times, patient times in clinic. These can be accomplished in Process Simulator, MedModel or a combination of both. However, ProModel recommends MedModel as the most appropriate tool in this setting.
Healthcare Custom Project Implementation Support Level
Intended for organizations that need to rapidly solve
a complex process performance or facility design problem.
Contact the ProModel Healthcare Team to discuss your
specific situation.
